DAYTONA BEACH area BOAT RAMPS
Ponce Inlet, New Smyrna Beach and Port Orange

The city of Daytona Beach is just a few miles from some of the best inshore and offshore fishing in Florida. To get to the best fishing grounds as quickly as possible, virtually all Daytona Beach fishing charters depart from either Port Orange, Ponce Inlet or New Smryna Beach. The boat ramps we use in these nearby towns are between 6 and 14 miles from Daytona Beach. Public parking is available at all the boat ramps we use.

Captain CB of CB Fishing Charters has two trailerable boats available for your inshore or offshore fishing trip. He will gladly trailer his boat to the nearest Daytona Beach area boat ramp most convenient to you. The boat ramps listed below are recommended by Captain CB to help you get to the best fishing grounds the fastest. Captain CB wants you to spend less time traveling on the water and more time fishing!

PORT ORANGE
(6 miles from Daytona Beach)

About Port Orange

Port Orange is just down the Halifax River from Daytona Beach. It is the largest town between Daytona Beach and New Smyrna Beach. Port Orange is an ideal place to launch for inshore fishing charters on the Halifax River.

Next to Donald’s Bait & Tackle

The Dunlawton Bridge boat ramp is the closest boat ramp to Daytona Beach that we use regularly. Great fishing on the Halifax River begins just down river form this boat ramp.

How to get there!
Go 4 miles down US Highway 1 or A1A to where A1A crosses the Halifax River (Dunlawton Ave).

Cross the river and in the middle of the river is a little island. On the south side of the street is Donald's Bait & Tackle.

Take the service road from Donald's Bait & Tackle about 500 feet to the east side of the island and the boat ramp is under the bridge. Public parking is available.

PONCE INLET
(10 miles from Daytona Beach)

About Ponce Inlet
Ponce Inlet is the closest inlet to the Atlantic Ocean near Daytona Beach. Ponce Inlet is located at the mouth of the Halifax River. The town of Ponce Inlet is located at the inlet, between the Halifax River and the Atlantic Ocean. The town is home to the famous Ponce Inlet lighthouse, the tallest lighthouse in Florida.

Our boat ramp in Ponce Inlet gives us easy access to the Atlantic Ocean for offshore and deep sea fishing as well as easy access to great inshore fishing in the lower Halifax River basin, the Intracoastal Waterway and the rich coastal marshes.

How to get there!
Go straight south from Daytona Beach down A1A (the beach road) toward the town of Ponce Inlet.

About half way to Ponce Inlet, A1A turns right to go over the Halifax River but STAY STRAIGHT on the beach road known as South Atlantic Avenue all the way to the town of Ponce Inlet.

About 4 miles past where A1A turned right to go over the Halifax River you will reach Lighthouse Drive at the entrance to the famous Lighthouse Point Park. Turn right on Lighthouse Drive and very shortly, you will run into Peninsular Drive.

Turn right on Peninsular Drive and about 500 feet down the road on the left you will see the Hidden Treasure Rum Bar & Grill and our boat ramp. There is a public parking lot next door to the boat ramp just before the restaurant.

NEW SMYRNA BEACH
(14 miles from Daytona Beach)

About New Smyrna Beach

The town of New Smyrna Beach is located on the Intracoastal Waterway just 3 miles south of Ponce Inlet. Our boat ramps in New Smyrna Beach put us right on the Intracoastal Waterway. This provides us easy access to Ponce Inlet and offshore fishing in the Atlantic Ocean. The New Smyrna Beach boat ramps also provide us easy access to coastal mashes and estuaries where we do a lot of our inshore fishing.
